From April 23 to 25, 2025, Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre hosted the inaugural GITEX Asia 2025, a transformative tech and startup event powered by GITEX GLOBAL, the world’s largest and most influential technology showcase. GITEX Asia 2025, organized by KAOUN International in collaboration with the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and supported by Singapore’s Economic Development Board (EDB) and Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), delivered an unparalleled platform for cross-border collaboration. Day one set the tone with high-energy demonstrations, including Unitree’s G1 robot showcase and Alibaba Cloud’s AI keynote, alongside discussions on sovereign AI projects. Over 320 global speakers across 15+ tracks, including the AI for Tomorrow Summit and Sustainable Smart Cities, shared insights on the digital economy’s future. The Supernova Pitch Competition saw startups vie for a prize pool exceeding USD 100,000, spotlighting Asia’s entrepreneurial talent.

AI Everything Asia emerged as the event’s heartbeat, showcasing generative AI disruptors and enterprise-grade automation reshaping industries. From AI diagnostics in healthcare to smart city solutions, exhibitors demonstrated how AI is driving innovation across mobility, retail, education, and finance. North Star Asia solidified its place as the region’s largest startup platform, connecting over 500 startups from 60+ countries with 250 active global investors managing USD 200 billion in assets. The event facilitated 11,500 bespoke meetings, a unique feature that fostered high-value partnerships. Singapore’s vibrant startup ecosystem shone through the Singapore Fast 100 index, recognizing high-growth scale-ups and unicorns.

Digital Health and Cybersecurity Innovations

GITEX DIGI_HEALTH 5.0 Singapore showcased breakthroughs in AI-driven diagnostics, telemedicine, and smart hospitals, positioning Asia as a health tech powerhouse. Meanwhile, GITEX Cyber Valley Asia addressed the growing need for robust cybersecurity frameworks, forging connections between governments, businesses, and tech providers to build resilient digital ecosystems.
