Starting October 31, 2024, cryptocurrency exchange Kraken will halt support for Monero (XMR) across all markets in the European Economic Area (EEA).

In a strategic move to bolster its European operations, leading US-based cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has officially acquired the Dutch crypto broker Coin Meester B.V. (BCM).

In a significant development in the legal arena, Kraken has formally requested a jury trial in its ongoing lawsuit with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Kraken cryptocurrency exchange has been directed by US District Judge William H. Orrick to respond to the securities law violations complaints made by the SEC.

Kraken, a leading US-based cryptocurrency exchange, has inked a significant sponsorship deal with Atlético de Madrid, one of Spain's most successful football clubs. The partnership designates Kraken as the club's Official Crypto and Web3 Partner, as well as its Official Sleeve Partner, starting with the upcoming La Liga season in mid-August.
