Today, Uniswap, a trailblazing decentralized exchange (DEX), is showcasing its accomplishment as it marks a significant turning point in the use of multichains.

Over the past week, there has been a notable 21% decrease in Solana's native token, SOL, which has reached its lowest value in almost six weeks. Given that SOL's price increase of 61% in March, investors may have been unduly enthusiastic. This decline has resulted in significant liquidations of leveraged long SOL futures contracts totaling $113 million since April 11.

Uniswap accounted for 64.3% of the trading volume, the majority of which was concentrated on the platform. In less than a day, trade volume on decentralized exchanges (DEX) on Coinbase's Ethereum layer-2 network, Base, significantly increased, smashing previous records and crossing the $1 billion mark.
