The cryptocurrency community is eagerly awaiting news regarding the potential endorsement of a spot Ethereum ETF by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

VanEck's proposed spot Ethereum ETF, with the ticker $ETHV, has been listed on the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation's (DTCC) new securities list, following the release of amended 19b-4 forms by Cboe. Despite this important milestone, approval from the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is still pending and not guaranteed.

Following the recent introduction of a spot Ethereum ETF in Hong Kong, OkLink, a prominent provider of blockchain data services, has expressed optimism regarding the potential approval of similar products for other leading blockchain protocols in the future.
